Examples of Affirmations

Yesterday’s post was on the use and effectiveness of affirmations and here are some suggested affirmations to use. Do you use affirmations? What are some of your favourites?

Affirmations for anxiety:

  • I am calm and at peace
  • I am safe
  • I choose positive thoughts
  • I’ve got this
  • I am enough

Affirmations for depression:

  • I’m okay
  • Tomorrow is another day
  • I am loved
  • I am strong and resilient
  • I deserve joy

Affirmations for overall wellbeing:

  • I love and accept myself
  • I am grateful for (my friends, my family, my career, etc.)
  • I am healthy and energetic
  • I love my life
  • It feels good to take care of myself
